June 6

350km!

Nothing like covering another 100km in just under 60 days. I never thought I would say it, but I really enjoy running now. Everything is growing like crazy along my running routes, providing some beautiful scenery to enjoy.

The biggest challenge I'm finding now, is the hot weather - picking a time of day to run that has me awake and not sleepy, and with weather that's not 40C (like it was last week!), has been a bit of a challenge. :)

Today worked out great though; weather clouded over, the temperature dropped, but the rain held off. I ran 13km along a new route I had discovered last month - and managed to log my best 5K (28'11") and 10K (1:00'13") times!

Signed up for the Golden Ears Bridge Run (7km), which should prove to be a spectacular scenic run over the Fraser River. More information can be found here.

I'm also considering signing up for the Scotiabank Half Marathon at the end of June, but my brain is trying to convince me otherwise. Willing feet, but need to have a willing head now!

Thanks God, for coming with me on every run.
