August 30

Today is overcast, cloudy, but not raining. Was probably 15C at 7am when I headed out for my first run of the day. Just headed up 240th, cut down to the ball park, ran through the fairgrounds, and then back home.

Felt great to get some running time in, and just the right temperature too. Not cold, not hot, and some blue sky and sunrise breaking through now and then was really beautiful. A great morning for a run and a chat with God. :)

Tomorrow is RACE DAY!

I am so excited to be participating in the Nike Human Race 10K tomorrow evening! My first ever race, and what a long, but rewarding and exciting journey it has been to get here. Thank you to all my friends and family for your support.
